Mellisah Mancuveni
Registered Psychologist
Mellisah Mancuveni is the founder and lead Psychologist of Mancuveni Psychology. Mellisah is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychological Science and Psychology in Society, along with a Graduate Diploma in Psychology. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of New England.
Mellisah’s passion is fuelled by her hope to provide support and care to individuals, particularly those from disadvantaged or minority groups. Her ongoing PhD research focuses on understanding the barriers, facilitators and effective strategies for improving mental health access within the African Australian population. By shedding light on these crucial aspects, she aims to contribute to the development of inclusive and accessible mental health services.
She has worked with clients spanning a broad age range, from children as young as 6 years old to older adults. This diverse experience has equipped her with valuable insights into various mental health presentations, including autism, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, family challenges and other individual or social difficulties. A core value of Mancuveni Psychology is to place great emphasis on evidence-based interventions, ensuring that the treatments provided are rooted in scientific research and are tailored to the client’s specific needs.
Mellisah is a budding speaker who loves to share her insights on mental health and well-being. Her friendly and approachable demeanour creates a welcoming place where all individuals, especially those from disenfranchised backgrounds, feel heard, understood, and validated.

Mellisah is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Interventions, Motivational Interviewing and other evidence based treatments.

Fathima Shaha Hussain
Registered Counsellor
I am a qualified Mental Health Counsellor, registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), holding a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrated Counselling. My approach combines professional expertise with empathy, creating a safe and respectful space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and goals.
I support clients experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, and those seeking self awareness and emotional growth. I draw on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), and Transactional Analysis (TA), blended with elements of Art Therapy to support creative expression and deeper self-exploration where appropriate.
Alongside my core qualifications, I also hold certifications in suicide prevention and pre- and post-marital counselling, further equipping me to guide individuals and couples through a variety of emotional and relational concerns.
