While the recommended price for sessions by the Australia Psychological Society (APS) in 2023 is $280, we believe that your well-being should not be hindered by financial barriers, and our pricing structure reflects this philosophy. Rest assured that you will receive great psychological services at fair and reasonable rates.

Medicare rebates are available only with our psychologist. Medicare offers rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. In order to obtain Medicare rebates you need to first visit your General Practitioner (GP) and explain your mental health concerns and obtain a referral. It is necessary to book a longer consultation with your GP so that they have adequate time to develop a care plan with you. Your GP will complete a ‘Mental Health Treatment Plan’ with you and also provide you with a letter of referral. You must bring these documents to your first session in order to access your Medicare rebate.

Rebates for psychological services are often offered by private health funds. To determine the exact details of the rebate, it is advisable to contact your health fund directly. It's important to note that you cannot claim from both Medicare and a private health fund for the same session.

We kindly request that you provide a 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you fail to provide 24 hours notice or miss your scheduled appointment without prior notification, a $60 cancellation fee may apply. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will do our best to accommodate emergencies and exceptional situations on a case-by-case basis.

Mancuveni Psychology does not provide workers compensation or court related assessments or reports. Nor do we provide testimony in legal proceedings. If you choose to subpoena your psychological records, you agree to pay for any required preparation time, time out of the office and for travel at a charge equal to the hourly rate.
